Seniors

Lane Cove Seniors play in the Sydney Shires Competition.

​

Sydney Shires has:

  • 1st to 4th grade that play 8 two day games and 5 50 over one day games on Saturdays.

  • 5th and 6th grade that play 40 over one day games mostly on Sundays, and a few Saturdays.

  • U24s that play 7 50 over one day games on Sundays.​

Senior Registration Fees

​The Lane Cove Cricket Club is committed to providing players in the local community with the best possible club. This includes grounds, facilities, equipment and coaching.

 

To this end, in 2025-26 the club is investing in an electronic scoreboard for Tantallon Oval, a new large cover for Tantallon Oval, a new small cover for KSO, and in Frogbox live streaming technology.

Of course, this all requires funding. While the club is fortunate enough to receive funding support either one off or annually from bodies such as the local council, the state government, Cricket NSW, Cricket Australia and club sponsors, season to season operating funds are mainly raised from membership fees.

 

Revenue from membership fees is critical to the ongoing financial viability of the club. Without this revenue, the club simply would not exist.

 

The Committee, after much deliberation of the issues facing the club, and after receiving feedback from club members, have set fees for the 2025-26 season as follows:

​

  • $700 LCCC fee (same as last season) + the Cricket Australia mandatory fee ($36.50 o18 or $17.45 u18)

  • The Cricket Australia Fee is paid as part of the PlayHQ registration process.

    • The Cricket Australia fee covers player insurance.

    • Hence, players must be registered to be insured, and we request players do this immediately.

  • The LCCC fee is to be paid directly to the club bank account.

    • The LCCC fee can be paid in a single payment or multiple payments.

    • However, the total amount is due by round 1, 27th September 2025.

    • If not paid by the 27th September, then a late fee of $100 will be applied.

    • No club clothing is included with fees.​

      • Club clothing can be purchased from Kingsgrove Sports Artarmon. ​

We ask players to pay their registration and club fees as soon possible, so registrations are sorted early, and so we can meet early season financial costs, which is when most cricket club expenditure occurs.
